Description
Narrative
Metabolic reprogramming by oncogenes and tumor suppressors has a central role in the
initiation and progression of cancers, including high-risk neuroblastoma. In this application, we
will investigate a new mechanism by which the oncogene MYCN integrates cholesterol
synthesis with nucleotide and amino acid metabolism, which may suggest new therapeutic
strategies against this deadly pediatric cancer.
