Abstract

Monocyte-derived dendretic cells are potent antigen-presenting cells for clinical immunotherapy. However, Tan and collegues now show that transduction of mature DCs with vital vectors may unexpectedly suppress their stimulatory ability, via induction of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase.
