Abstract
Proteins from normal persons' and nonuremic anemic patients' urine were fractionated by chromatography and preparative column electrophoresis. A fraction was obtained with relatively potent erythropoietin inhibitory activity. The fraction obtained was predominantly basic and had a sedimentation coefficient of 1.99 Svedberg units.
