Abstract

Adv. Mater. 2018, 30, 1704362 This Correction is issued by the authors of the linked Advanced Materials article[1] to make readers aware of results in a closely related paper by two of the authors, which was published in Applied Physics Letters[2] at nearly the same time as the Advanced Materials article. While each paper reports information not presented in the other, there is a significant overlap in the content, including the duplication of figures from reference [2] in the supporting information of the Advanced Materials article. In addition, the authors wish to correct an error in Figure S8b of the supporting information of the Advanced Materials article. The original figure showed a Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectrum of a different magnetic iron oxide nanofluid, and the FTIR spectrum of the nanofluid is corrected in the accompanying version of the Supporting Information available here. The authors recognize that they should have made the editors aware of the simultaneous submission and should have cited the other paper in their submission to Advanced Materials. The authors understand that dividing up work between several publications is not in the best interest of readers and apologize for this. [1] J.-t. Jang, J. Lee, J. Seon, E. Ju, M. Kim, Y. I. Kim, M. G. Kim, Y. Takemura, A. S. Arbab, K. W. Kang, K. H. Park, S. H. Paek, S. Bae, Adv. Mater. 2018, 30, 1704362. [2] J.-t. Jang, S. Bae, Appl. Phys. Lett. 2017, 111, 183703. Corrections made in the accompanying revised Supporting Information file: • On the first page: The Supporting Information was revised on 19 March 2019. Figure S8b was replaced with the correct FTIR spectrum. The data in Figures S2a, S4, S8c, S10a, and S11b in this supporting information were published as Figures 1a, 1c, 4b (inset), 6a, and 6b, respectively, in ref. [S1]. The data in Figures S2b, S5a, and S7a are repeat measurements on the same materials (but different batches) as reported in ref. [S1]; previous measurements were published as Figures 1b, 3b, and 2a, respectively, in ref. [S1]. • In the captions of Figures S2a, S4, S8c, S10a, and S11b: These data were previously published in ref. [S1]. • In the captions of Figures S2b, S5a, and S7a: These data are repeat measurements on the same materials previously published in ref. [S1]. • In the reference section of the corrected supporting information: References [S1] J.-t. Jang, S. Bae, Appl. Phys. Lett. 2017, 111, 183703. Supporting Information Supporting Information is available from the Wiley Online Library or from the author.
