Abstract
This chapter addresses the critical task of communicating the outcomes and value of teaching and learning centers through formal reporting. It examines the purposes of reporting, including accountability, advocacy, and continuous improvement, and provides strategies for organizing and presenting data effectively. The chapter emphasizes the importance of aligning reporting structures with institutional priorities while also highlighting the stories and voices of faculty participants. It considers the benefits of different metrics, such as participation rates and learning outcomes, and qualitative evidence, such as testimonials and case studies. The authors rightfully claim that by framing reporting as an act of strategic communication, well-crafted reports not only demonstrate impact but also build credibility and potentially secure much-needed resources.
