Abstract

In time-based Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) process, reaction control time has been fixed. Consequently, untreated sewage water can be discharged. By constantly monitoring and analyzing Dissolved Oxygen (DO) and pH level in the water using the fuzzy inference based control, inflow water quantity and concentration can be controlled. Moreover, by controlling the reaction time, equipment can be efficiently operated and maintained. Also, operating cost can be reduced. By discharging cleaner water through rigorous factor control, improvement in river water quality can be achieved.
