Abstract

Constriction of the renal artery on one side in cats by 50 and 90 per cent left the mesenteric postganglionic efferent activity unaffected. On the other hand, narrowing of the lumen by 90 per cent was followed by a significant depression of the adrenaline-induced baroreflex response.
