Abstract
A study was carried out to examine the impact of shear rate on slow leukocyte rolling and subsequent adhesion in C57BL/6 mice lacking CD18 integrins (CD18-/-), and/or E-selectin (CD62E-/-) using a TNFα-induced model of inflammation of the mouse cremaster muscle. In general, the combined deficiency of CD18 and E-selectin produced the most severe reduction of neutrophil recruitment in any mouse model described so far.
