Abstract
We've introduced you to touch-sensitive screens, use of a stylus, and handwriting recognition capability for both Palm OS and Pocket PC devices. You've walked through a typical day using the built-in handheld software and learned to synchronize data between your handheld and a desktop computer. You've even learned to beam data wirelessly from one handheld to another. So now you're getting to know your handheld and the question becomes, "Are you hooked?"We hope you are.In the following sections,we'll delve more into medical-specific software and clinical applications of handheld computers.
