Abstract

Long-term follow-up of infertility surgical procedures performed at laparotomy using the carbon dioxide laser are presented. Pregnancy rates achieved are higher than after short-term follow-up but consistent with reports from similar procedures performed using nonlaser techniques. The carbon dioxide laser is an appropriate instrument for reproductive pelvic surgical procedures. The choice of laser or nonlaser modalities appears to be a matter of personal preference.
