Abstract

Laryngeal electromyography (LEMG) has become a valuable diagnostic and prognostic test for patients with neuromuscular disorders of the larynx. Because LEMG has evolved faster than the otolaryngologic literature, many voice clinicians still under-use LEMG. This paper provides a review of the recent literature on LEMG and presents the authors' clinical applications.
