Abstract
The article offers information related to critical professional development spaces. Topics include Global Conversations in Literacy Research which is a critical literacy project that hosts internationally recognized literacy scholars whose work is grounded in whole language and/or critical literacy pedagogy, research, and practice; and discusses teaching within a critical literacy perspective which means that educators are open to transforming their teaching practices.
