Noninvasive imaging of a giant left atrium

Abstract

We report the radiographic, echocardiographic, and computed tomographic features of a patient with a prosthetic mitral valve and giant left atrium. The latter, the largest to our knowledge in the echocardiographic literature, extended to (and could be visualized from) the right lateral chest wall.
