Abstract

Transverse flow has been studied as a function of impact parameter for pions and protons from the reaction 1.15 A GeV ¹⁹⁷ Au + M¹⁹⁷ Au. . We observe an “antiflow” behavior for both π⁺ and π⁻ in peripheral collisions.
