Abstract

As more women delay childbearing, uterine myomas and their relationship to pregnancy become a more prevalent and important clinical issue. Obstetric management of pregnancies complicated by myoma uteri is reviewed. The increased prevalence of myoma uteri now diagnosed by ultrasound alone may require re-evaluation of patient counseling and management.
