Abstract

Molecular distillation and preparative liquid chromatographic techniques are described for purifying the actinide extractant dihexyl N,N-diethylcarbamylmethylenephosphonate (DHDECMP). The viscosity, refractive index, density, mutagenic capability, UV, IR and NMR data are reported for the purified material.
