Abstract

Victor Streib is a renowned legal scholar and advocate for legal reform, particularly for juveniles and women. His studies, especially in regards to the death penalty, have shaped society's views and have been cited in many landmark US Supreme Court decisions. His work contributed to a shifting consensus against the execution of juveniles, and brought attention to the previously overlooked gender bias in the imposition of the death penalty.
