About the Project
Neural stem cells are fundamental cells that are capable of differentiating into various cell types in the
nervous system. In this investigation, we plan to focus on a class of sugar-containing molecules called
gangliosides with the goal of gaining a better understanding of their roles in neural stem cell proliferation and differentiation. Based on our past track record and innovative concepts, we believe that we will gain major breakthroughs to clarify how neural stem cells can participate in developing a normal brain and how neural stem cells may be utilized in repairing damaged or degenerated brain.
