In this chapter, Dr. Rahimi and Ms. Waitt discuss a new technique that has evolved in the care of strokes. The field of neurosurgery is advancing rapidly and continually. Acute stroke care has dramatically changed in the last two decades. Technology and devices have enabled more life-saving patient care measures and it is of the utmost importance to continue to advance.
