Abstract

The authors have notified the Editor that following an institutional review by the University of North Texas IRB, findings of non-compliance with this Analyst article were noted. The review found that while subject harm was not a concern, the study was determined to have been conducted without the necessary IRB review and approval in place. The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
