Abstract

When the Medical College of Georgia was founded 175 years ago, students learned clinical skills in a hospital setting. Today, they learn in various settings and ways. The medical curriculum is more integrated and includes topics such as professionalism and community service. This article describes contemporary medical education for students and faculty at the Medical College of Georgia.
