Abstract

The multiple-angled incision on the volar surface of the hand has proved to be excellent for exposing the flexor tendon of the digit. It is also a useful incision for fasciectomy for Dupuytren contracture. It gives excellent exposure of the deep structures of the palm and digit and also allows advancement of skin to the volar surface of the digit when necessary. The scar heals without contracture.
