Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine

In our long history as an academic anesthesia department, The Medical College of Georgia Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine has established clerkships, a pain fellowship, and an anesthesiology critical care fellowship. A joint emergency medicine/anesthesiology critical care fellowship started in 2019, we welcomed our first pediatric anesthesiology fellow in 2020, and our first advanced perioperative clinical anesthesiology NST fellow in 2024.
